1. What is your Name, Class and Level?
I am Wayat Stoutbellow (I don't have the surname in game, but this is what it will be), Hunter of Dun Morogh, 10th season.
2. What are your primary professions?
Skinning and Mining.
3. Have you been in any other guilds on this server? If so, please list them.
I have not been in any guilds.
4. Why did you leave the previous guild(s)?
N/A
5. Why do you wish to join Argentum Ordo?
We all, Alliance and Horde alike, face a common threat. Instead of bickering between factions, I agree with the goal of eliminating the Scourge and forging a semblance of peace between regions. ((I've read a lot of great comments about your guild. I love RP and am looking for a strict RP environment where OOC is discouraged. Your guild has a solid goal, story and guideline set that I also find impressive and encouraging.))
6. What are your goals as a player? (ex: RP, PvP, PvE, End Game, etc.)
First and foremost I love RP. I enjoy PvP in the battlegrounds and world PvP as well. However, I primarily enjoy PvE. I'd like to make it to end game on this server, but I enjoy the process and am not all about getting to 70 as fast as possible as I enjoy the content. I like to learn my class, my role, and my character more than the level grind.
7. What do you expect from the guild?
A community that shares common goals in RP, PvP, and PvE. I have had poor experience with OOC ruining IC relations and have been a part of a guild dissolution because of it. I expect the IC channel to be IC as the guidelines state - too often OOC is a large part of the IC channel and it ruins the experience. I look for friendly members who also enjoy the RP experience.
8. Please share a bit about your character (IC, be creative!)
I was born and raised in Ironforge, along with many other dwarves in the region. I am seen as somewhat unusual due to the nature of my upbringing. First off, I have no siblings, so my friends and companions were my parents, Sawyer (my wolf cub) and the merchants my parents bought and sold from. My parents were traveling merchants who took me along on many of their travels, exposing me to the outside world. They did not want to raise a child who had never left Dun Morogh. Seeing how I was the only one, it was easy for them to tote me along! I've spent quite a bit of time in Stormwind, as it is an easy commute from Ironforge. I've studied history and have taken to studying languages by the scholars of both Ironforge and Stormwind. I make it to Darnassus from time to time, but that is a long distance to travel. Along with the major cities, I've spent time in the smattering of settlements and villages along the trade routes and roads.
Unlike many dwarves, I have little talent for the manipulation of metals - I like using them though! I skin the hides off of the animals I kill and I am a miner, like many other dwarves. I have a gnomish friend who is teaching me some of the finer arts of engineering, a skill I may pursue later on. But for now, I am happy with collecting minerals, ores, and hides. I don't speak nearly as neatly as my writing may appear. I look and sound like every other dwarf, but I pride myself on my knowledge and education. Yes, I would say that my planned letters are far more articulate than my speech. There are just some things that can't be helped! Trust me, my professors have tried.
I am a hunter by profession. It allows me the chance to travel and explore the wilderness - something my parents and I often did, especially considering their poor navigational skills. They've gotten lost on roads that went from one village to another and somehow managed to get turned around! I have a wolf as my traveling companion and friend - I've had Sawyer since he was a cub and we've spent many years together. I hope he is welcome as well because he doesn't let me out of his sight for long.
9. Please share a bit about YOU (OOC)
I love reading, gaming, movies & films. I typically play during the day and log around 2 EST for work. Sometimes I get back on around 930 EST. I used to play WoW a couple of years ago on Twisting Nether. I had a 60 Hunter and a 60 Lock - I left the game shortly after BC came out due to a high work load in school. I've graduated college so I have some free time now! I've played other MMOs such as EQ for four years off and on during high school, EQ 2 for a year or so, WoW for about a year on TN, and LoTRO for a little less than a year. I've been gaming online for about 10 years now; much of that has been RP. I dabbled in Vanguard and Age of Conan, but I've decided to come back to World of Warcraft.
10. Additional comments and information:
My main will be Wayat and I may roll -an- alt, but I like to stick to one or two characters. Wayat is a she by the way, although the name doesn't sound it. It's a name I've carried through a couple games and I'm kind of attached to it. I really am impressed with your guild goals and guidelines and I hope you have room for another hunter.
